Children’s Ministries

When? Every Wednesday from 10.00am to 12noon from 2nd Wednesday in September through to the end of May.

Where? In the church hall (entrance from Watson Street)

Who can come along? Chatterbox is not just for mums – grannies are welcome, as well as those looking after children. We even have had some dads along!

What happens? Quite simply the children play, the grown ups chat and every one gets something to eat.  The children get juice and toast and the grown-ups get tea/coffee and scones.

Why not come along and see for yourself?

CLICK is our Sunday Children’s Ministry at First Portadown. We meet every week after the Children’s Address (11:30 – 12:30) and come together to learn from the Bible through stories, crafts and music in a fun, friendly environment.

Each week, there is a short talk and watch a video from the Gospel Project before separating into diferent year groups where we work through an activity booklet and take part in games, quizzes or crafts.

We would love to have any new children come along and join us! You will feel very welcome as we learn about God together and have loads of fun at CLICK!

Holiday Bible Club

Holiday Bible Club happens for 1 week every summer at Edenderry.

It is a week for Primary School children to come and learn from the Bible through stories, sketches and songs – along with crafts, snacks, and the dreaded ‘Dance Off!’.

Make sure to come for the week and the Friday Night BBQ; you won’t want to miss out!
