Reception for Rev. Stafford Carson

Reception

A reception was held on Wednesday 20th May 2009 for Rev. Stafford Carson where Mr Carson was presented with robes for when he is the Moderator.

Rev Stafford Carson awarded Honorary Doctorate

Stafford Carson

Rev. Stafford Carson's (left) nomination as Moderator Designate of the Presbyterian Church was marked by Union Theological College with the award of an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree presented to him by College Principal Professor Laurence Kirkpatrick.  Fifteen other students also graduated at a ceremony held on 15/05/2009 to mark the end of the academic year including ten students for the Presbyterian ministry.

Dr Carson will be installed as moderator of the Presbyterian Church at the opening session of the General Assembly in Belfast on Monday 1 June.
