Thank you to all who attended the fundraiser breakfast this morning where all the money raised will be going to our mission partners Robert and Kyla for their plans to develop their football academy Yakaar Hope Football Centre.

Maybe you’ve had a difficult year of loss, bad news, illness or are feeling lonely and are not looking forward to Christmas. Maybe you want to feel hope in your life, no matter what circumstances you face - you can find hope in Jesus! Come to First Portadown on Christmas morning at 10:30am or Sunday at 11am and 6:30pm to hear about hope found in Jesus!

Nativity Service | Sunday 21st December 2025 We had the best Sunday morning service this week! Our kids were all SUPERB in their roles, singing, reading and praying. We couldn’t be more proud of them! During our nativity service we thought about the joy, hope, peace and love that can be found in Jesus! Special thanks to all our CLICK leaders who teach our kids about Jesus throughout the year. CLICK is for primary school kids and runs during the morning service each week (term time) and we’d love to see new faces come along 😃 Wishing all our kids a very happy Christmas 🎄

Carol Service | Sunday 21st December 2025 We had a very special night together at our carol service. Matty, David and John opened the word to remind us of three promises from God that we can rejoice in, trust in and share with others: 1. God promised to send His Son as a rescuer 2. God is with us today 3. Christ will come again, for His people, as King of kings and Lord of lords We had an incredible night of praise singing carols together and listening to our choir and musicians worship the King! Of course, finished with a festive supper in the main hall where there was lots of laughter and smiles! Thank you to everyone for coming. We pray you were truly blessed and encouraged this Christmas season to trust and hope in God, our promise keeper! ‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.’ Romans 15 v 13

It’s tomorrow!!!! Who’s coming to our Carol Service? We have an amazing programme planned for our Carol Service and we can’t wait to worship together as a church family. You are so welcome to come along and join us! Service starts at 6:30pm and we will have a time of congregational carol singing for approx 10 mins before the service so plan to come early. Festive supper in the main hall afterwards. ‘Oh come, let us adore Him!’
