Joy Irwin was in Nepal working with SIM (Serving In Mission). SIM is an international mission organisation which works in 45 countries, mostly in Africa, South America and Asia.
Joy taught in Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) for 1 year in 2006. KISC caters for 130 students, 80% of whom are missionary kids. 80 students attend the high school and there are 50 students in the primary school. As it is an International School, the children are from all over the world.
