The role of church choir is to lead congregational singing at worship services within our church. The choir also prepare a ‘Word in Song’ for each Sunday. This allows the congregation to listen, reflect and hopefully be ministered to though the aid of music.

Choir practice begins with a prayer time for everyone present. Members are regularly encouraged, and continue to feel the support of a praying choir for the church and individual needs.

We always welcome new members of any age. If you have a desire to serve God through music we would love to have you as part of our choir.

Choir is a fun organisation and is a great way to get to know people better in our congregation. Many of our members’ value the friendships formed and sustained through choir.

Choir meet every Thursday at 7.30pm and meet half an hour before each worship service in the session room. We are building a wide repertoire of music and include various styles.

If you have any queries regarding choir please get in touch via email at [email protected]

Our goal is to unite our congregation with one desire – to bring glory to our Saviour and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our prayer for our congregation would echo the words of Romans 5:

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you my glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
